I have been invited to the movies by my secret crush OMG! What do I wear?

First, it’s the movies so...? you don’t have to worry about spinach between your teeth.

Just take a deep breath and relax.

If you plan on eating popcorn or having a soft drink during the movie, light colours are a definite ‘no no’. Especially for scary movies that have those jumpy moments or that person who accidently bumps into you on their way through the aisle.

If you plan on wearing make-up, keep it simple. There is nothing worse than the lights coming on and him seeing mascara running or smeared lip stick.

Apart from that, just worry about what you are going to say about the movie, when he asks you what you thought of the film. If you are stunned by his presence and can’t speak, practice saying ‘it was good, you?’.

Clothes: Fitted black top, chunky jewellery, denim jeans and flip flops.

Make-up: A little bit of mascara and lip gloss will go a long way
