How to be Popular…

Do you only know the people in your class? Do you wish you knew lots of people?

If you have watched a teen movie, you almost always find a story with a popular crowd. Most times, you will come across the ‘mean girl’ who makes everyone’s life hell, but everyone wants to be her friend.

In real life, you don’t have to be mean to be popular.

If you want more people to know your name, here is HOW…

1. Join lots of clubs. If you are good at something or want to try something new, join the club. You will meet new people and even people who are in different peer groups (The year above or below)

Some clubs are not considered ‘cool’, but when you are involved in a few different ones, it won’t matter.

2. Don’t be afraid to shine. If you are talented, show your talents but do not boast about your ‘greatness’

Being good at something gets you noticed and allows more people to know who you are.

3. Be nice to everyone. Acknowledge people, even if you don’t know their name. Learn names.

When you are a nice person, people will not think twice about speaking to you.

4. Help people whenever you can. This can be advice or a physical task.

People remember when you helped them out and are likely to remember you.
