Darren asks Max for advice this week, following his unsuccessful attempt to take his relationship with Jodie to the next level. But while the entrepreneur considers drastic action to please his new squeeze, Abi’s affections for him are mounting… At Patrick’s, the clan continue to struggle with Denise’s absence. As evil Lucas tries to conceal his emotions during Bible class, Libby prepares to face her first birthday without either of her parents. Meanwhile, Peggy and Phil visit Ben at the detention centre. Childhood memories continue to haunt Ronnie this week as she prepares for her big day with Jack. As tensions continue to boil between Peggy and Glenda, the troubled club owner drops a bombshell that is overheard by a few too many ears – will anyone believe the distressed bride-to-be? Elsewhere, Phil is reluctant to visit Ben, but following a heart-to-heart with Peggy he faces his son. The lad claims he’s made a friend – but all may not be as it seems… Back on the square, Christian and Syed’s relationship goes from strength-to-strength, causing further conflict with Masood and Zainab. The residents of Albert Square reel from the discovery of Owen's dead body this week. Libby and Chelsea worry as Denise is questioned by the police, but the cops are the least of the matriarch's worries after Lucas stuns his wife with a shocking confession. A dramatic turn of events later sees the killer preacher strangle his spouse in a riverside showdown. Is this really the end for Denise? Back on the Square, Phil and Ben prepare for the boy's court case as the worried father fears his son won't survive Juvenile Detention. Lucas starts to panic this week, when he overhears Denise telling Patrick about him talking in his sleep. But that's the least of the psycho preacher's worries as Zsa Zsa, Leon, Mercy and Fat Boy decide to replace Trina’s tree after damaging it. Is Owen's rotting corpse finally going to be discovered? Meanwhile, new mum Stacey returns home with baby Lily, and clashes with Becca when her friend tries to get rid of gift-bearing Ryan.
